Programs

Mini-Grant

The purpose of the mini-grant is to lower the barriers to entry to creating change in Omaha. We aim to do this by providing funding quickly and directly to local community-based groups looking to create positive change in Omaha. Groups can apply for up to $1,000 in funding.

Fiscal Sponsorship

One Omaha offers fiscal sponsorship services to local groups looking to secure funds for community projects that improve or strengthen our city and neighborhoods. Equitable access to grant funding supports a healthier ecosystem for neighborhood groups and community organizations to make change from the bottom up.

In 2023, six groups utilized our services, receiving $63,460 in grant funds including:

Projects supported by our fiscal sponsorship included neighborhood engagement initiatives, beautification efforts, neighborhood history projects, and operating costs for an organization that uses skateboarding, art, and music as a vehicle to provide Omaha with safe, diverse, and inclusive spaces for the community to thrive.
