What is Good Neighbor Week
Good Neighbor Week is Omaha’s first citywide week of neighboring, hosted by One Omaha. Every day has a theme and a simple challenge, and neighborhoods across the city host their own gatherings, from porch parties and block meetups to cleanups and workshops. You do not need to do everything. Meeting one new neighbor counts.

How the Good Neighbor Passport works
Grab your free digital passport below. It arrives by email and lives on your phone, no app needed.
Follow the daily themes, take on the challenges and add neighborhood events to your plan right from the passport.
Stop by gatherings hosted by neighborhood groups, nonprofits and businesses, show your passport and scan the host’s QR code to collect stamps all week long.

Host an event during the week
The heart of Good Neighbor Week is neighbors gathering. Porch parties, block meetups, cleanups, workshops: if you can bring people together, you can host.
Takes about two minutes. Our team reviews every event before it goes live.
Be a vendor at Celebrate Saturday
Put your organization in front of neighbors from all over Omaha at the grand finale at the Gene Leahy Mall on September 26. Register in a couple of minutes and our team will follow up to confirm your spot. There is no cost for a vendor spot. If you are able, we have suggested donation amounts of $50 for nonprofit organizations and $75 for for-profit businesses.
Represent your neighborhood and welcome neighbors from across the city.
Share your mission and connect with volunteers and supporters.
Showcase what you do and meet your next customers.
Feed the finale crowd all afternoon.

Our sponsors
Good Neighbor Week is made possible by the generous financial support of our sponsors. Sponsorships fund the week’s programming, the grand finale at the Gene Leahy Mall and the rewards that celebrate Certified Good Neighbors. Thank you to the sponsors who are making the 2026 Year of the Neighbor possible.
