Fiscal Sponsorship

Fiscal sponsorship is not a grant. Fiscal sponsorship is an arrangement between a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit and a smaller charitable project or group. Through this partnership the smaller group is able to receive grants and tax-deductible donations without having its own nonprofit status. It’s a popular alternative to forming a new nonprofit, giving projects access to essential support.
