5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
One Omaha Office (3902 Davenport St.)
In a perfect world, we would all get along. In reality, we must deal with difficult people in many aspects of our lives. Working through conflict can be draining and frustrating, but it doesn’t have to be!
In this interactive workshop, Dr. Paige Toller, professor of communication at UNO, will lead discussions and activities preparing you to:
- Recognize the nature of conflict and its impact on relationships and organizations
- Understand how communication can generate productive conflict outcomes
- Utilize and apply different conflict intervention strategies
Stop letting conflicts with difficult people impede your neighborhood improvement and community organizing goals.
